Group aims: To listen to and discuss the music and lyrics of The Beatles and their influences
The music of The Beatles is loved by almost everyone. Many of us grew up during the era of Beatlemania. Even if you didn’t, you will probably know the songs and the story of The Beatles. In this new u3a group we will not only listen to their music, but also discover the music that influenced them, from Skiffle to Indian classical music. We will discuss what their songs mean to us whilst listening to the most glorious pop music of the 1960s. If you missed them in the Sixties, then join the party now!
Group meetings: Monthly in-person meetings in Room A at Adamson House.
