Group name: Storytellers.
Group aims: To meet once a month and enjoy sharing stories in good company in pleasant surroundings over tea and biscuits.
Do you enjoy writing, telling or listening to a good story? Then this group is for you.
There is one meeting a month and we aim to hear four or five stories at each meeting. So, whilst everyone might not have a turn at telling a story at every meeting, it won’t be long until their turn comes round again. After each story is told there should be plenty of time for others to comment and discuss it.
The stories can be something members have written themselves, perhaps a short story or a chapter of a novel. The word limit for these stories is 3,000 words, or about 20 minutes. Other members may want to read one of their favourite short stories or chapters from a book or a magazine.
Group meetings: usually monthly in-person meetings in Room 3 at Pink Lane.
