Group Name: Promotion & Publicity
Group Aims: To discuss, review and implement activities to raise the profile of Newcastle u3a with the primary objective being to achieve a significant increase in our membership numbers.
Activities to be considered may include website developments, new printed materials (for example posters and leaflets), attendance at events, newspaper and magazine articles, radio interviews, a new u3a Open Day, etc.
The group is open to everyone, although members with past experience in Marketing and PR would be particularly welcome. However, the group is also open to members who would like to learn from each other about the principles of marketing. But the key to the group's success will be a willingness to get involved in delivering promotional activities, not just talk about them!
Group Meetings: Usually monthly in-person meetings in Room B (The Bewick Room) at Adamson House at 1pm on the third Thursday of the month.
