The Science of Well-Being: An Introduction to Positive Psychology

Positive Psychology (not to be confused with "Positive Thinking") is the scientific study of what makes life most worth living. Instead of focusing solely on what goes wrong in human psychology, it explores how human beings flourish, build resilience and experience authentic well-being.

Ancient wisdom and Modern Science - For thousands of years, philosophers and sages have debated what it means to live a "good life." In an attempt to answer this, we consider some of this ancient wisdom alongside modern evidence-based neuroscience and psychology.
