Group name: Committee Meeting (Newcastle u3a)

Group aims: To meet and manage the successful running of our u3a to achieve our mission for us all to learn, laugh, live.

Our Committee members are all volunteers. We do the big jobs for which we have lots of legal and financial responsibilities. We need help from all our members to do the many small jobs.

It is essential for us to liaise with all members to understand everyone's needs and wants then to deliver appropriate services and facilities within our resources to satisfy those desires. We only achieve this with the active participation by all members to the best of your ability.

Group Leaders and their Deputies are also volunteers and a vital link in our management chain.

This is a "closed" meeting, only our Committee Members and invited persons may attend. Minutes are made available to members. Any major decisions are discussed with all member at our AGM or if necessary an EGM and voted upon.
