When: Monthly on Thursday afternoons 14:00-15:30
1st Thursday monthly.
Venue: Room A / The Armstrong Room, Adamson House
Cost: £2 includes refreshments.

Group name: Bob Dylan - his life and worrks.

Group aims: A group for dedicated Dylan fans or for those who are just curious about all the fuss. An opportunity for those who gave him up when he went electric or became an Evangelical Christian or advertised lingerie to appreciate what they have missed in later Dylan. For all a relaxed afternoon of music and discussion of his life and work, although even if we trace the life of the Nobel prize winner from Minnesota to the Groat Market in Newcastle or even catch him on his ‘never ending tour’ I suspect he will remain ‘a complete unknown’. If only we could obtain some of Dylan’s own ‘Heaven’s Door’ Bourbon to make the session perfect! Mike will be happy to lead sessions on the different stages of Dylan’s career, but all contributions will be welcome!

Group meetings: usually in-person meetings at our u3a meeting rooms on the first Thursday of the month

More information: please contact our Group Leader, Mike Fraser, by email above.
