Group Name: Biographies.
Group aims: to meet and enjoy sharing an interest in biographies.
We already have several successful book/reading groups in Newcastle u3a, and I’m sure there is room for another! One of our members has kindly offered to start a new group and this is what is proposed:
A monthly meeting to discuss biographies, or auto-biographies - life stories about real people - from the rich and famous to the humble. These should be chosen by members, and could be about interesting people from history, sport, science, politics, popular culture, entertainment, etc ….
Group meetings: usually monthly in-person meetings without Zoom, in our Newcastle u3a meeting rooms. Strarting Monday 2nd February 2026.
