We hope you can tell from the reports below what sort of Wine Group we are, and whether you'd like to join us. We're not going to add anything else for a while to give everyone a chance to comment where they would like to
At the November meeting we had our memories tested by Jane C who gave us many words and pictures from our discussions during the year, in a half hour of quizzing! We couldn't cheat as our papers were marked by the team next to us. Some people did extremely well and some of us were very jealous of their brilliant memories.

February 2025
Our fourth “About Wine” group and the number of attendees is growing.
January - illness of presenter, postponed this until our February meeting, Thankfully Terry volunteered to bring a bottle for us to investigate instead - Thanks Terry
In December Diana told us about her researches into the Beaune Wine area with maps and pictures of the local scenery, and samples.
Afterwards she set us a quiz which helped to point out the main points - or, for me at least, how much I didn't remember...
The blue circle on the map shows Beaune

At our November meeting:
Terry and Alyson brought two bottles for us to do a Blind tasting

We suggested some topics for future meetings
