When: Monthly on Saturday all day 10:30-15:00
4th Saturday morning and afternoon - you choose.
Venue: Pink Lane meeting room 2
Cost: £2 includes refreshments.

Group name: Shakespeare.

Group aims: To meet, view, discuss, and enjoy the works of Shakespeare - England's greatest poet and play writer.

Members choose a programme of Shakespeare's works to study. We usually watch a film, or part film, of his plays. Followed by a lunch break with shared picnic feast and a good informal chat about the play, characters, language, messages, morals, politics, culture, etc. Continuing in the afternoon.

All welcome. No prior knowledge, skills, or experience is needed. Just a willingness to look, learn, and share ideas and understanding. We like a good laugh. Please come for all day or just the morning or afternoon session - we'd be pleased to meet you.

Group meetings: usually monthly in-person meetings with a shared picnic lunch, continuing in to the afternoon in our u3a meeting rooms.

More information: please contact our Group Leader, Mike Wallace, by email above.
