Once you become a full member, you are entitled to:

  • Attend our monthly social get-together on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at Brunswick Hall in the City Centre, just off Northumberland Street. This always includes a fascinating presentation on a wide variety of topics, and plenty of opportunity to socialise and make new friends. Refreshments are also provided. More information is available on our Events Page.
  • Join an unlimited number of our special interest groups, listed on our Groups Page. We now have over 65 groups, so there is sure to be something of interest for everyone.
  • Set up and run one or more of your own special interest group(s), if there is a topic or activity we don’t currently offer. Friendly support will be provided by our Groups Co-ordinator, including by publicising your new group to all other members.
  • Receive a monthly digest by e-mail, providing the latest information about our groups and other interesting local events and activities. This is also available by post for a small additional charge.
