Group name: Committee Meeting (Newcastle u3a)

Group aims: To meet and manage the successful running of our u3a to achieve our mission for all members to learn, laugh, and live life to the fullest. Key agenda items include the organisation's finances, administration and policy documents.

Attendance at the meetings is only open to Committee members, although observers may also attend at the invitation of the Chair.

Our Committee members are all volunteers. New Committee members must be voted into the role by the full membership at our AGM in February. However, new volunteers are always welcome, especially if you have a particular area of expertise. Group meetings: usually monthly in-person meetings at our Adamson House meeting rooms & Zoom. This is a "closed" meeting, only our Committee Members and invited persons may attend. Minutes are made available to members. Note that any major decisions are discussed beforehand with all members at our AGM or if necessary an EGM and voted upon.
